HR Employee Relations Officer

 

The Role

 

The Employee Relations Officer is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated depots and improving interdepartmental communication flow. Serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and acts as a main point of contact for the employees. The selected candidate will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Main tasks: employee relations, personnel administration, and HR support to Depot Manager
  • Conducts meetings with respective departments and areas.
  • Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Director to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assists and collaborates with payroll area and with HR administration, training, and recruitment-related issues.
  • Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • To check the validity of the driving licenses of the drivers, thus avoiding the possibility of being expired without being renewed.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or similar fields.

• Proficient verbal and written skills in both Greek and English.

• Organization, and good communication skills. People-oriented and a team player.

• Have a positive energetic attitude with the ability to see solutions to occurring problems.

• Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.

• Computer Literate - working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including excel).
