Cyprus Public Transport Pre-Professional Summer Internship in Cyprus for Operations

Description

Paid internship program in Cyprus by which university students will perform assigned functions of the Operations department in our company in Cyprus. The plan provides the knowledge and tools necessary for university student to begin their working experience.

Requirements

To qualify for these internships, the candidate must:
• Be a student of a university degree or have recently finished it.
• Have an upper-intermediate/advanced level of English

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates joining the Operations department will have different duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Assist in the planification of drivers’ rosters.
• Coordinate with the rest of the departments and assist in preparing reports of the department.
• Assist in preparing reliability & punctuality reports.
• Assist in assigning duties for drivers.
• Provide help in preparing accident reports.
• Provide help in dealing with daily problems that might occur.

Development of practices

Starting date: between 01/06/2023 – 31/08/2023 according to other participants’ availability.
The internships will last between one to three months during the summer months, with days of 40 hours per week.
Those selected will have a mentor who will follow their evolution. In this way, the student will be able to improve their communicative and intercultural skills, acquire non-technical skills that are appreciated in the labor market and develop a more entrepreneurial mentality.

Financial endowment

Those who participate in the program will have as funding:
• Free public transport
• Monthly Salary 300€
